My complete wood-turning workshop (except for the building!) is for sale. The Jet JWL-1442 has 8 lever-changeable speeds but does not have electronic speed control. It is cast-iron throughout and therefore as solid as a rock. This lathe is 18 years old but, in the words of Stuart Mortimer, hardly used. Throughout its life, it has turned no more than 250 items, both faceplate and spindle. Since 2012 it has been used no more than once or twice each year. There is a complete collection of turning tools and accessories which, with the lathe, cost just under £4000 new. This lathe is presently for sale on eBay USA for £1600. I am prepared to sell either as one complete lot or as three separate lots: Lathe – Tools – Accessories. A buyer would have to collect from Andover, in Hampshire.
