Teknatool Chuck

Like Dave in his post, I have a donation to our club
We have a Tekntool Super Nova 2 Chuck without an insert. On checking we we found that the insert thread was 1/1/4" but with a left hand thread. It is an old chuck but never used-unsurprisingly!

Any suggestions or offers, we have tried the UK dealers, and they cannot help

I acquired one of these chuck with the same thread when I bought out a deceased turners workshop.

It took a while to work out what the thread was, so well done on getting that far. It is an American thread, there are users of American lathes in the UK.

What I did was advertise it on a well known internet auction site, it found a new owner quite readily.
