Tea Light Holders
« on: March 02, 2021, 02:00:23 PM »
Hi, can anyone please tell me where I can get hold of black tea light holders. I've bought them in the past but now I can only find brass, steel, copper and of course glass. Many Thanks   George

Must admit I have not seen the black ones but if things come to a push can't you paint the recess that a holder goes into and use a clear glass insert which should show as black

Dereksm idea is best, no good painting the actual containers. Only cloured ones I have seen are the big thick standalone glass ones. Not wht you are looking for I suspect.

Thanks guys, they seem to have stopped making them so I think Derek's idea seems to be the best option

Hi George,

Have you looked at Turners Retreat?  Their website lists Tealight cups in Black, Brass, Copper, Polished steel and Glass in the drop-down selection box, but the black option isn't listed with the others in the description underneath (?).  Check them out here -
https://www.turners-retreat.co.uk/tealight-cup/p1380

Might be worth a phone call to clarify.

I think a lot of suppliers have stopped using wooden T light holders due to the fire risk.
