Thread chasers

The price of these items are held unbelievably high by all UK distributers. Does anyone have a source of reasonably priced thread chasers, internal and external, of the same TPI?

No good at the moment I'm afraid but when things open up again look out in jumk shops and boot sales as a lot of people including turners don't know what they are and you can pick a set up very cheaply if you are lucky. I have three sets that I got for a fiver that way. Just need to practice and get to use them LOL.

This dosen't answer your question directly  but i use Ashley Isles  chasers and you only need one to do both inside and outside threads . That would reduce your start up cost  a bit   :)
