dust extractor recommendations
« on: January 07, 2021, 07:35:08 AM »
Hi all, I guess it's probably been asked before, but any recommendations for a portable dust extractor in a new workshop ? Main use for sanding.

Thanks

The Charnwood ones always get good feedback from people who own them.

We have a CamVac at the club and it’s very good.

Whatever brand you go for ensure that the filter system is no more than .5 of a Micron, it is the fine dust that you only see when sun shines in your workshop that does the most damage to the lungs.

Many of the systems for sale trap only large particles and let he worst of it through.

Cheers Martin.
