Pau Amarello - Yellowheart
« on: November 03, 2020, 05:45:10 PM »
Does anyone want to make me an offer to take a piece of Pau Amarello  -  Yellowheart off my hands. It's a square section, approx 40x40 (1 1/2" x 1 1/2") and 90cm (3ft) long....absolutely clean.
Postage would be charged at cost and it would obviously help if this could be cut into two or three shorter lengths, but I won't do that if you want it full length.

....it's currently fetching £22.50 per foot for this section at Woodwise. Now I don't expect to get their sort of money for it, but I really was hoping for a better return than that!

It is only worth £22.50 if you really want it, my offer would have been lower! but then I hate making banana's too  ;)

A 3' length would be worth £67.50 surely? At least at the price Les quoted from Woodwise

I'm not expecting to get that much for it, Pete....after all, I'm not a dealer with all the overheads that they have, but it would be good to get a reasonable amount for it.

Didn't think you were Les but not sure everyone realises how much that timber  costs. LOL
