Does anyone know which lathe has 1 1/8" spindle thread with the same but LH thread on the outboard end?

Think that was the Myford ML8

I just found the list on Peter Childs and it says it was the Myford Mystro but that doesn't appear to have a LH threaded outboard spindle. With a rotating headstock there wouldn't have been any need for one.

I had a Mystro for many years and can confirm that the thread is right but it had no left hand outboard thread, the ML8 did though and also had various attachments that ran on the outboard spindle, though I am guessing that it was 11/8", as I have seen them but never owned one.

Hi Pete, The ML8 has an 1"x12 RH Thread on the spindle with a 7/8" x 12 LH Thread on the outboard side.  Julian
