Sphere turning jig

Not sure if I’ve posted this before on here but I designed and built this jig some time back.

Very nice some serious metal working skills there. I won't show you mine as it is made out of offcuts of ply etc but it does work if used carefully.

Thanks. The bigger and heavier you can make it the smoother the cut. I just used materials I happened to have to hand.

I had mine adapted for the VB 36 and works a treat

Lazurus, that's a clever way of getting round the bars issue on a VB. As a fellow VB owner, any chance of a close up of how you have fixed the jig to the lathe bars please? Ta.
