Posting a stick!
« on: August 17, 2020, 04:03:02 PM »
I was asked to post a shooting / hiking stick for a friend. It is 1m 60cm long around a 6 cm diameter head and weighs .6kg. The cheapest i could get from a courier was £23 and royal mail wouldnt touch it. Any suggestions?

Why wouldn't royal mail touch it? I have posted larger things using Parcel Force.

ask a company that sends industrial stuff in large tubes 8' long like weather strip for windows.
ones that specialise in postal tubes essentially...

i can't believe that they charge that much.

Yes i think some of the online booking portals seem to get confused when it is over a meter long for some reason - I know it can be done I just need to find the right company. Thanks for the above I will have a ring around again when I get time.
