Escape: Latest collaboration
« on: June 22, 2020, 08:05:20 PM »
This is a 17" sycamore bowl with a 9 1/2" 'bpwl' section. The pyro is, of course, Mo's work and all the different patterns are based on japanese kimono patterns.
C&C welcome as always.

You've both taken this to the next level. That's a thing of beauty.

Great fun! - now how to make them escape off the piece...

And I might suggest a piece ('Pandora's box') pyroed by my daughter that used the various stages (egg-larva-chrysalis-butterfly) of 'pandora' in and around a box.

Thank you guys.,Regarding the buttefly emerging idea mWill. Sounds a good one.Have t mention it to her ladyship see what she thinks.Always a bit wary of doing the same design as others though. We'll see.

Still looks great!  Pics of box (note butterfly name) and another dish by my daughter attached (note ladybird). There is a lot of fun to be had here!

Very beautiful indeed! I really like the idea of the design escaping the confines of the rim.
