Pierced, two-part hollow form in ash
« on: May 24, 2020, 04:51:17 PM »
I bet you weren't expecting that....but the title is accurate.

Made as a bit of fun for my grandson. Cut from a semi-dry ash log, cut into two pieces, hollowed and glued back together. Stands about 18" 45cm tall.

The humour in this is great, I think 'Big Ear's' would want to move in straight away.

Perfect, and I suspect will be at least as treasured as the most expensive art piece you could ever make.

great piece of turning who said that turning just can't be fun or mean we can't occasionally just go mad and make something different
