Deep but narrow hole
« on: May 30, 2020, 01:15:10 PM »
I need to bore a hole, about 35mm wide by 200mm deep.
I have Forstner bit big enough but the hole is narrower than my Jacobs chuck, so I cannot bore deeper than the length of the shaft.

This is a one-off so I don't want to buy an extension bar for the Forstner bit.

Any useful ideas out there please?
