Laguna Lathes
« on: June 24, 2020, 09:37:10 PM »
I see Yandles (and possibly others) are now stocking Laguna lathes. I was wondering if anyone on here has any experience of them and perhaps how they compare to their Axminster , Jet or Record Power equivalents ?

I have cut a small spindle piece on a demo lathe and poke it a bit, can't say I really used it and being a demo there was no option to try it with out of balance or large pieces. BUT it is a well made piece of kit, quite short on the demo lathe, again it may well be adjustable to suit me though being tall I normally have my lathe on max height.

Toolshops are open again, best advice is go and look. even better see if there is a demo machine you can play with.
