Morther nature rules
« on: March 21, 2020, 12:49:47 PM »
A couple lof exampkes where Mother nature dictates the final result. First one was supposedly dfy but has bent to a point where the bowl has got a back and a front. Second one was left for about a year aftyer turning and developed loads of splits despite the fact gthat it was a very old bit of oak initially. Sometimes you just have to go with the flow LOL.

Mother knows best! but I do like what you have done to enhance and display what mother nature dictated. Perhaps you could sell them as a range under the "Mother knows best" tag.

TT (My new tag, I am actually another Pete, but that is already used!)

That is one of the joys of woodturning, we are always working with mother nature, even after the piece has been sanded, finished and maybe sold !
