An excellent demonstration by Ray emphasising to start with the basic shapes and control of the tool went down well with both the experienced turner and the less experienced in the morning session, then a buffet lunch prepared by James and our Chairman ate all the cake.
In the afternoon we were treated to a brilliant project Ray's speciality a child chair 11 spindles , seat, top rail all showing his skills and passing on his knowledge all with great sense of scouse humour. He did remind us it was 25 years since he had done a demonstration we promised we would have him back in another 25 ....only joking Ray welcome any time
