turtle/wall
« on: June 16, 2019, 06:46:20 PM »

                We called it Turtle
This piece started off as any old  rusty iron and finished up looking like a wall or turtle  ;D  :)
Its gone darker than expected in places possibly it was left to long between layers or it could be down to the oil in the
olive. Although we have done quite a few of these dig type pieces never used these paints on olive wood. 91/2" x 2 1/2"
We realise its sacrilege to use Olive in this way but we have a lot. ;D
As always comments are most welcome
  Kind Regards Tony & Di

Pete, Di,

I see dried cracked earth. And to explain, earth generally dries and cracks with 3 lines radiating from the node. So an average angle of 120°, which is what you've achieved here. That along with the rough texture and colour, if it's to be a wall, it must be an Adobe Wall.

And that's what I've missed about the work you produce in your collaborations, it does not have to be right, but it does have to be trying to do something new.
Oh Lord, Lead me not into temptation…

...Oh who am I kidding, follow me, I know a shortcut!

I like this new idea of yours and like Bryan it is good to see your work here again.
