Spaltd Hornbeam

Hi all,
a big bowl from ca. 35x14cm.
The wood is spalted hornbeam.
The base is like the top, curved inward.
Comments welcome..

Very nice Hornbean, Markings but like spalted beech but more colours. Good work and nice shape

Hi Philip and David,
thanks for your comments. Yes, the grain is very nice. I've got 6 pieces of this wood.
I use Danish oil, in this case two coates. But I'll apply two coates more to get more brightness.
