Yew Vase

Hi All,
Vase made from Yew finnished wiyh two coats of Lemon oil.
Dimensions: height 230mm, large diameter 160 mm, top diameter 90mm and wall thickness 8 mm

Nice Vase the grain pattern is lovely,when turning Yew it never disappoints And I like Lemon oil or Orange oil as a Finish.Regards John

Hi to All,
Thanks for the comments.
I now use Lemon oil on the majority of my turnings. It is easy to apply and drys evenly and quickly. I normally leave the 2nd coat for 24hrs and then use burnishing cream which improves the feel of the outer surface.
