Just a thought...…….Why doesn't the AWGB do a YouTube channel, with instructional pieces so we can keep making sure that those taking up the craft can get safe and competent info straight from the start. It would be a good advert for the association too.

As Pete said above but also there is no one way to turn so there would always be something that was controversial.  It has been said here before many times the best way to learn how to turn safely (and make th most of your hobby) is to get proper instructions and join a club.
