paper filter bags for a perform dust extractor

Does anyone know somewhere I can get the paper bags that go over the filter in my old Axminster perform dust extractor? I have had this machine for about 16 years and it has done sterling service for me. I bought it with about 50 bags but now I have run out and I can't find anyone that stocks them. Are there any from the current crop of bin type extractors that would fit? I have tried several types of paper bags from ordinary shops and even bags from the local takeaway but they reduce the suction too much and the motor gets hotter than I like.

Cant help with the bags I`m afraid, however could a reusable bag be made from stockinet or cotton which could be washed and reused like the cloth filter bags on many chip extractors?

Not sure what the Axminster perform dust extractor looks like. It's the paper bag that catches my attention.

So if the extractor is the drum sort (akin to the Camvac) it was made by Numatic, the makers of the Henry range of vacuum cleaners. So any of their bags should do the job although they may need some adaption.

I bought a cloth bag for a camvac to use on my metal can style vacuum / extractor. I use that instead of paper bags.

Thank you gents. With the machine being out of production for so long I didn't hold out much hope of finding a supplier. I will have to look at finding a vacuum cleaner bag which is big enough for me to adapt. I don't want to go down the cloth bag route as I can't be bothered to wash them out.

Me too. Hate to think what reaction I'd get if I put mine in the washing machine LOL.
