I wish to down load a free CAD software program that will enable me to draw very accurate angles (for segmenting) does anyone have experience of free Cad  and can you advise me which one I need.

You could use FreeCAD, but I have to warn you: learning how to use a proper 3D CAD program is quite a learning curve. Considering the end use, you are probably better off with a simpler 2D drawing program. I'd recommend LibreCAD, comes in version for Windows, Linux and Apple. I use it a lot, and once you've learned the basics, it works very well.

Thanks Fuzzy, it was a 2D version I was thinking of and as one of the systems I have on my computer is Libre office I will probably go with your suggestion, many thanks.
