Ash Vase

So SWMBO spotted a part turned Ash vase. I'll have that she says, but can you make it purple? Easy brownie points to be had there I thought to myself, and she is happy with it.

Wanting to fill it with dried grasses or some-such she also want the wide foot for stability so please bear with that!

It stands 305mm (1') high by 105mm wide.

Finish is Chestnut purple spirit stain and many coats of danish oil before being buffed with wax. But don't look too close to the shine, you can just about see me and a camera in the refection!

C&C as you will and thanks for looking.

If that is what the customer wants even though it is only brownie points you are getting paid then that is good enough. Like the colour of this as well I do like the shape but the foot is not what I would have chosen

I think that just about sums up my thoughts on the shape also, but the colour certainly works.

The colour most certainly works....as does the quality of the work that leads to such a finish.
