WOODTURNING MAGAZINE
« on: April 14, 2018, 11:50:07 PM »
Just received my latest copy.
Congratulations to Les Symonds (Gwyntog) on his article "A bowl, a wing, a foot and a leg", lovely piece!
Unfortunately, there are no dimensions or anything that I can see to give any indication of scale.
Well done Les.
Regards Tudor

Thank you Tudor.....I was given quite a tight word-count to work to when supplying the text for this, so there was a lot that I would have liked to have said, but couldn't. However, here's a line from what I wrote in this forum when the bowl appeared here a few weeks ago..."The overall dimensions are 25"x10"x4" (62cm x 25cm x 10cm), whilst the centre of the bowl is 19" (47cm) from the tip of the wing, which gave a 38" swing when I was working it. "

Mine is still in it's wrapper, awaiting some time to open and start reading it.

Now I'm going to go open it, just to read this article.

Great to see Les has finally got himself in print, Well done and about time!
