earring stand 5

my latest earring stand that i did as my demo at our club. this was a 2hr demo and finished the stand at home. all comments welcome.

Nice one.Only critique would be to make the base a little wider, design wise it could be doing with being about 1/3rd wider than the diameter of the top. Other than that looks good. Also a nice practical style

I like this a lot but I think Pete is right the base could be a bit bigger

....and the same here. Looks like a good clean finish on the oak but that slim base does make it look a little top-heavy, otherwise a very attractive piece.

thank you to all for your comments. i do agree with the comment on the bowl. i have done others but with this being a demo i used what i could get hold of and this was a bit small when i did the finishing cut. this is finished with Yorkshire grit and Hampshire sheen.
