Rowan or mountain ash

Our son Rowan is getting married next Summer and I would like to turn him a bowl out of Rown(mountain ash)
Does anyone have a piece that I could  get hold of?

I do have some rowan, but it's not big enough for a bowl. I think you'll struggle a little with this one. Rowans don't generally grow to large sizes.

i agree, very difficult to find in bigger than 8".

what size bowl are you looking to make?


i'm currently downsizing and moving my business and i know there is some rowan amongst my rough turned bowls. would you be interested?
