What would I do with it Andy?  I guess slice it in to bowl blanks?  I have no clue as to what something like that would be worth Andy!  Any ideas on what a reasonable offer would be please?

Are you sure it's a burr, to me it looks more like an old injury canker.

Though whatever it is I'd enjoy seeing the finished product.

I too would consider it a canker, which is why I didn't go and get it my self.

As it happens I think it's going to Ian at Turner's Cabin. He can tell us what it was like to turn.
