Keeping it simple!
« on: November 05, 2017, 09:04:55 AM »
I'm a great believer in keeping the form and the decoration simple.

This trinket box measures 12cm high x 6.5cm diameter and is cut from a single piece of wenge, with a sycamore accent ring and cabochon. There's a further cabochon of quartz inside the lid, just as a nice surprise to the buyer.

C&C always welcome....Les

Education is important, but wood turning is importanter.

Ah, if only simplicity was as easy as it looks!

And I like the way your stretching your use of stone cabochon's into more and more of your work.
Oh Lord, Lead me not into temptation…

...Oh who am I kidding, follow me, I know a shortcut!
