beech stained bowl.

back in the shed tonight to finish this beech bowl. I have finished it with Hampshire sheen. the colour is spirit based red, blue and yellow all just wiped on and left to dry. all comments welcome.

An interesting bowl, not sure about a couple of things. The colour looses it a little, red, blue and yellow mixed make brown, or in this case I'll call it olive, not an inspiring colour I'm afraid.

The top is also not quite right, it does not follow one curve across the width, there is almost a concave near the bowl and a convex area just before the transition to the base. Both very slight so as to almost not be there, but it causes the top to lose it's definition.

However I do like the fact that you've left the rot/canker holes in the side, that works for me.
