 For the 7th year now we have been invited to display some work at Great Witley Church ..Art Exhibition It is a
 Beautiful Baroque Church ... If anyone is in the vicinity over this Bank Holiday Weekend  the church alone is well worth
 a visit........... I asked Tony to turn me a couple of off centre bowls . The Blue /Gold is sycamore crotch with Iridescent paints
 The Green / Gold is walnut crotch with Interference Paints .. The blue one is 13"... and the Green is 12"
 Can't really call them Marbled They are more Dragged and Dipped

                    Very nice pieces of your work again something different. It is a shame the shadows on the photos makes them look distorted

  Thank You John..... They are not the best of angles , it was the only way to get the Iridescent 1st  to show its full colour
  they are better on a wide rim bowl , its not worked that well on off centre one. The other one Interference is very
  disappointing it picks up on some parts and others look bland and black, again the off centre has not done it any favours.
  but after saying that they are much better in normal day light.

I'm sure these look a lot better in the flesh.

I've been doing quite a bit with the Interference paints and the effects do not show up well on camera.

  Have come to the conclusion Ed, that interference paints are not worth bothering with as far as posting goes.
  I did not see the distortion I had caused to the bowls shapes before posting them.... my photography skills  still
  let me down big time , as you say they do look much better in normal light .

I do like the first one, it is very loud to look at. I think you've positioned it upside down though, the flame in the grain should develop upwards, but that is just my opinion of course.

    A very good point Bryan ... the grain pointing upwards might have helped with the distortion.
