Axminster K100 Chuck
« on: February 10, 2012, 08:15:48 PM »
I decided to purchase a new Axminster Clubman K10 100mm Woodturning Chuck with 1" x 8tpi thread insert. This was to save me the time of changing the jaws over when I wanted to use different Jaws.No luck they are out of stock and if I ordered today because there is a back log of orders 100+ it would be about the 3rd week in March before despatch Axminster informed me they have taken on two more staff and started another shift to catch up. Regards John :( :( :'(

Hello John,
I know this will be a dissapointment for you but it's good that someone in the UK is busy. It's probably caused by the orders that my club members keep putting in! ;D

I have a K10 1" x 8 backplate. PM me and we'll see if it's the one you want (there are 2 versions).

John,  it looks like demand has out strip supply and to stock 5 stores as well and they are running an offered of the Jet 1642 & 1220vs with the K10 as a package which are both listed as out of stock, yet they have both lathes are available.

Time will fly and then you'd best buy 2..   :D ....

Cheers.         David
