I looked at that Oregon self-sharpening kit at the Woodfair show at Bentley a few years ago. The Oregon staff said that if you were using your saw all the time, then it was great. Not really for small users. Buy a good set of files instead, cheaper and just as good!
As always, if in doubt, find your local arboricultural stockist and have a word with them.
