compatible inserts/adaptors ?

hi folks, can anyone tell me if nova chuck insert/adaptors fit the robert sorby patriot chucks . are the direct threads on both chucks the same size ?

the old Nova and Patriot chuck adaptors and jaws are interchangeable.

Hi Poppajoe,
As Ed has said they are compatible but be careful as the two companies both use codes stamped on the inserts but those codes are not the same for a particular thread size. For example for 3/4" x 16tpi, RS use code A, http://www.robert-sorby.co.uk/lrspc-patriot-chuck whereas Teknatool use the code number 9. http://www.teknatool.com/product/nova-chuck-insertsadaptors/
