“Around Autumn”. My rejected entry into the AAW Sphere Exhibition. Made from Pear, Turned and hollowed to 3/32” approx.. 6” dia.

If that was turned down the rest must have been spectacular because this is amazing.

Never mind the thinness of the turning, I would never of had the courage to pierce and remove so much of the wood, leaving such small connections.

Truly outstanding work.

So if this was rejected, what was accepted?
