It reminds me of that joke about the guy walking past a tall fence and a load of other people on the other side shouting "Seventeen Seventeen". He saw a knot hole in the fence so he peered through to see what was going on. Someone poked him in the eye and the chant changed to "Eighteen, Eighteen!".
