Ed... I thought I had answered you. Sorry about that. I will talk to the assessor hen I apply for the assessment about using my own lathe.

I have learnt the first rule of woodturning.
The internal diameter should never exceed the external width.
Nor the internal depth, the external height.
Does that make me an expert now ?

Hi Graham, I second what everyone has said. I done mine about a month and a half ago and had a ball. It was a good day and well worth doing. Oh yeah, and I passed , lol (still waiting on badge and certificate though)
