2018 Seminar
« on: April 25, 2016, 07:36:59 AM »
I see the next Seminar has been announced on the AWGB website. New venue. New date, Slightly different format. It sounds GOOD.

Graham
I have learnt the first rule of woodturning.
The internal diameter should never exceed the external width.
Nor the internal depth, the external height.
Does that make me an expert now ?

That looks good and quite Central although it wont suit some.
Is it too early to have an idea of prices and availability of local accommodation

We are working on a price of £425 including accommodation and meals. It may end up being less than that but won't be more. The accommodation is significantly better than was available at Loughborough and the accommodation block is within a very short distance of the block where presentations, meals bar etc. is located.

Judging from what I was hearing last time I think this is the bit that needs emphasising

I am looking forward to seeing who will be demo'ing there.

I would like to see foreign demonstrator's as I can see UK demonstrator's at any time but I expect the cost is prohibitive

George. It said somewhere that they are trying for 2 from USA, 3 from Ireland, 3 from mainland Europe and 2 from UK

2 people I would love to see are Cindy Drozda and Stephen Kennard.
