burr oak bowl.

burr oak bowl 9x2" in size. finished n butchers block oil.

as it says it is natural oil that is used on butchers blocks. I think it gives a good food friendly oil finish that I like to use on bowls. thank you for your comments.

The second picture made me think the rim was too thick, but it isn't, you've lightened the whole turning with the shape of the bowl and just left a good rim to hold onto.

It looks something like a map. The burr has the contours of the land and the burr pips are rock formations on a windswept coast against the darker wood that makes up the sea.

I like it lots.
