Here is my latest piece made from Black Ash Burl and a coat hanger, approx. 7” wide. Finished with an acrylic spray and lightly buffed.
Would love to hear your comments. Mike

Hello Mike, What a fantastic piece my wife loved it your skill certainly shows through in your work, was the spout carved and glued on and what was the wall thickness of the vessel. ;) ;)Regards John

Well you've certainly captured the 'essence' of a tea-pot and I've never seen a coat-hanger look better - well done.

Thank you all for your comments they really are appreciated.
David, We plan to show this at SWAT in the instant gallery, believe it or not you can put up to 7 pieces in.
John, The thickness on this piece is 1/4" as most of my teapots are, as l use a dowel to attach the spout and handles to the pot. l did make a couple with the spout in one but did not enjoy making them.

Hi Mike
Wonderful piece both form and timber. Your country certainly won the raffle when it comes to timber selection, and you have far superior coat hangers to the ones I use!!!!!
