Hi all,
no comment from me, but I hope from you.
I try to turn as much as I can.

Comments welcome.

Jo, another excellent piece, well turned, what's left and a good way to check wall thickness, well to practise it.

Fantastic concept - I am going to ask for one piece of information though, what are it's dimensions please.

Hi all,
thanks for your answers. The diameter is 40cm. The wood is maple,
wet preturned. To have a look on the thickness of the wood I open
the sides before turning.
Cheers Jo

Hi all,
on this picture you can see the rough turned objekt after drying with a big crack.
To turn this piece I filled the crack with foam (PU-glue).

Hi Jo
I like the concept of this piece, and it gives good ideas for uses of preturned forms which have split on drying, which would normally go on the firewood pile. Especially after seeing the later post. Nice one.
