A Bit Of Abstract Marbling
We discussed doing a last marbling session for now..... but did not want to bore you with more of the same..... Tony says making
these was a hard exercise in working out how to fasten them all together.....The ball in the black one is in two parts and he kept
dropping it.... The woods are Dirty Sycamore and Walnut..... and as usual I got to do the fun bit.
Comments as always are most welcome

I have learnt the first rule of woodturning.
The internal diameter should never exceed the external width.
Nor the internal depth, the external height.
Does that make me an expert now ?

These are really gorgeous. Hats off to both of you. Who comes up with the ideas?

Di and Tony
Thank You Pete Much Appreciated.......Its very much a joint effort, we wanted to have another go , yet do something different
from what we did before..... Tonys the technical one and I just throw ideas in and Tony tells me if it is possible to turn it.
Then I work on the colours that will suit the piece.
Di and Tony
PS Forgot to say the diameter of the Discs is 13"

I think the word is 'Dramatic'.
And like Ed, it's got to be the Black & White one that wins the day.
Can I ask, do you seal the wood in any way before immersing it, I just sort of see you having grain issues etc otherwise.

Thank you very much ...ED....Ryan.....John.. ..Bryan.
Your comments as always are very much appreciated.

Bryan... The only sealer used is Alum which is more an aid to help the paint attach than a sealer.
