yep great thanks, ordered a 1450 with bed extension and outrigger :)

Ooooh  My ... will watch for how you get on, not a lot of details on it yet, but the price must have been right.

As soon as you get delivery, do enjoy your new toy.

Well it finally arrived yesterday, after a few mix ups with delivery days, I think the courier company must have been pushing it from Germany rather than transporting it here!
Now I just have to wait for my back to fix itself after lifting the lathe into the workshop and I can actually use it!

Looks good. How about a walk through and a few close ups when your back has recovered ?

I have learnt the first rule of woodturning.
The internal diameter should never exceed the external width.
Nor the internal depth, the external height.
Does that make me an expert now ?

And the Sledgehammer was fore ... There's a bit on the floor ...  :o ... Am looking for the big green face icon  :'( for what I am ..   ;D ..

One very serious piece of kit, you must be about the first kid on the block with the 1450. Break it in gently, but above all enjoy. It will be nice to read your findings on the Lathe, let alone seeing some nice piece as a result.
