Tywyn Beach
« on: January 23, 2014, 07:53:19 PM »
To the Welsh contingent on this Forum get down to Tywyn Beach and get some of the Ancient tree stumps and trunks that the storms have uncovered before they are covered again by sand it seems that there was a forest there many many years ago.
But I guess it would be illegal.

It's been a long time since I was at Tywyn, I did all my Mountain training courses there.

Wonder what it turns like, we get bog oak out of the Somerset levels.

It stinks, you are unlikely to get a good big bit (splits as it dries), and creates a nasty dust, but can give a great finish.
Oh Lord, Lead me not into temptation…

...Oh who am I kidding, follow me, I know a shortcut!
