Just had a look at the first site, very handy, although I must say, while I have by no means seen all variations in a timber (who has?) I was a bit chary of the sycamore sample, it looks more like London Plane to me.

London Plane is a Sycamore Hybrid and it can look like that when quarter-sawn but I agree, it's far more reminiscent of Plane (Lacewood).
