historic books
« on: July 29, 2013, 05:03:16 PM »
I have a copy each of
'Hand or simple turning, principles and practice'  and
'The principles and practice of ornamental or complex turning'
Both by John Joseph Holtzapffel .
The former is a republished edition from 1976 of an original work from 1881 the latter similar but from 1973.
Both volumes are in superb condition including their original dust jackets.
Would anyone fancy making me an offer for one or both?
All the best
Brian

Hey Andy, the books enjoyed their trip to Luffbuggerer very much indeed but, rather strangely, had expected to see the light of day at some point during the seminar. We'll have to sort out another handover date to coinside with our upcoming get together. Great seminar, by the way, you and the rest of the commitee deserve and, I hope recieve, the gratitude of us all.
I'll be in touch as soon as the seminar dust has settled
All the best
Brian

No problem, Brian. Frankly I'd forgotten about them in all the heat of the seminar. Speak soon. Andy
