maple

Heres a fine piece of Queensland quilted Maple. The shape was irregular so it took some time to work out the best form to show it off. The bottom shows concentric rings as it was not so simple a job laying out the spirals. I had to lay out top and bottom separately due to the shape.

Hughie, I wondered where you'd gone. Good to see you latest signature piece.
It looks fantastic as always but the quilting is a little lost in the spirals.

I had trouble getting a good image. But in your hands its a knock out. Haven't really been quiet just caught the flu. Laid me up for around 3 weeks, right in the middle of a order for the gallery.

Hughie, nicely done as usual, you sure got the best out of it.

Hope you're making a full recovery from the flu, take care.
