I got hold of a very cheep slice of Burr elm last week then got my new band saw delivered so I had to have a play and got enough pen blanks for about 16 pens depending on what type of pen I make it looks like I will need some brass powder or something to fill all the voids my new grinder arrived damaged in the post so I still cant turn yet a replacement is coming on Mon pen mandrel has arrived got some of the polishes and oil I will need so hopefully some time next week it will be lift of
