Hi Woody....we don't know each other well, but I was a frequent fan of yours when you were posting images to the gallery on a regular basis, before I got started with my turning. That's brilliant news for you and I'm sure you must be very relieved to hear it.....although I'm not so sure that the news about you turning again is to my benefit, as I'm struggling with the level of competition on this site, already... ;)

Looking forward to viewing your postings again, one day.

Don't rush and take it easy .. keep listening to the Boss.

Will watch this space .. may yet see a boat ..

Cheers Young Lad,

Not up on my boats .. even for a lad who lived by the Sea .. and been to a few Islands .. Boats never look the same out of water ..  I'd go for a motor launch, an there are so many .. which one !!!!

I've a spare diamond parting tool, never used an I think it's an Ashley Iles .. I've seen some interesting mods. done to one before now, but I've not done anything, let me know if it would be of use, an I'll pop it in the post.

Hi Woody  --  So glad to hear that you are on the mend. My father in law had a tripple bypass when he
was in his 70s and was told by his GP to start building up to walking 5-10 miles a day. He did this for the
last 15 years that he was with us so well done, good luck and glad to hear the news.

Excellent news Woody, really good to hear.

If you need some timber let me know, I could do with sorting through the wood piles & thinning them down & it would be nice to think the "thinnings" were going to be put to good use.

Best wishes.

Doug.
