Mobile Saw Mill 2
« on: June 19, 2013, 08:54:18 AM »
Just had a look at the origional posting of "Mobile Saw Mill" and see that it brought some succses. Would it be useful to put together a list of the various "Saw Miller's" throughout the Regions who have been found to be reasonable and accomodating to Turners who in general want a small amount of Milling rather than a forest.
For starters does anyone know of "Millers" in bothe the East and West of the Northern Region?
If we get a good response I will look to aske for the AWGB branch's to post the list in the links of their websites

There are at least two band-millers in Bala, and a third whom I know of, just ten miles away. As far as I know, all 3 are quite accommodating to the needs of small-users. I'll try to get more specific info together soon.

Education is important, but wood turning is importanter.
