Stick Pens...
« on: June 18, 2013, 06:47:27 PM »
So, I have been asked to make some 'cheap' stick pens, pretty much like the 2 cent pen on utube.

Only one problem...

I cannot find a 6 inch 9/64 bit or  3mm x 150mm drill bit anywhere!

I have searched the internet and found only suppliers in the States.

Anyone know where I could pick up such a bit in the UK?

The type of drill bit you are after is referred to as extra long series.

A quick google search for 3mm x 150mm long series drill bit bought up this :-

If you do a search you may well come up with a supplier local to you.

Cheers.

I'll second that, arcos....'thanks Doug'....I was just about to start a search for these, for drilling out some lengthy pendant shapes for light pulls etc. Saves me a job!
Cheers...Les
