before I acquired my bandsaw I'd been known to use an old frame saw to cut out blanks. That's hard work!!

My jigsaw sees quite a lot of use as my standard bandsaw blade is 1", not only is it no good for curves but by the time I`ve swapped blades the jigsaw is the quicker option.

One thing I always find when a machine is down is a job will come in that can only be done on that machine, law of sod I suppose

Ideal that Eric, have done the very thing more than once, this time round didn't have the throw over the bed to take the corners off ..  ..
